Cookies policy

Introduction.

This extended information was drawn up for this website www.tippyonboard.com (hereinafter only “Site”) in accordance with Provision n. 229 of 8.5.2014 signed by Italian Supervisory Authority (entitled “Identification of simplified procedures for information and acquisition of consent for use of cookies”), then clarified with a circular dated 4.6.2014 signed by same Authority (entitled “Internet: Supervisory Authority, no cookies for profiling without consent”).

This information is therefore intended to provide the user who navigates the Site with detailed information about the type and purpose of use of cookies on the Site.

Definition and types of cookies.

Cookies are small text strings that the site visited by the user sends to his terminal (usually the browser), where they are stored before being transmitted to the same site at the next visit by same user.

The cookies used on Site consist of following types (objective and subjective):

I. Technical cookies: are used for sole purpose of “carrying out the transmission of a communication over an electronic communications network, or to the extent necessary for the provider of an information society service explicitly requested by the subscriber or user to provide this service” (art. 122 of new Italian Legislative Decree n. 196/2003) (Privacy Code); can be divided into navigation or session cookies, which guarantee the normal navigation and use of the website, or into functionality cookies, which allow the user to navigate according to a series of selected criteria in order to improve the service rendered to same.

II. Analytical cookies: are used to collect information, in aggregate form, on number of users and how they visit the site. The Site uses Google Analytics tool: it is a Google analytics tool which, through the use of cookies (performance cookies), collects anonymous browsing data in order to examine the use of Site by users, compile reports on the activities on Site and provide other information, including the number of visitors and the pages visited.

III. Profiling cookies: are designed to create user profiles and are used in order to send advertising messages in line with preferences expressed by user in context of surfing internet net.

IV. Third-party cookies: are set by a website other than the one the user is visiting; while browsing Site, user can also receive cookies on his device that are sent to interact directly with the social platforms, using buttons and/or widgets: the interactions and information acquired through these tools are, in any case, subject to the user’s privacy settings relating to each social network.

Only the type of cookies described in point III) above requires user’s prior consent.

Browser settings.

We also inform you that user can configure – freely and at any time – their privacy parameters in relation to installation and use of cookies directly through their navigation program (browser) by following the relative instructions.

In particular, user can set private browsing, thanks to which your browsing program stops saving the history of websites visited, any passwords entered, cookies and other information on pages visited.

Finally, we warn that if user decides to disable all cookies (including technical nature), quality and speed of services offered by Site could drastically deteriorate and access could be lost to some sections of Site.
